About the Scholarship

The Isemoto Contracting Co., Ltd. Scholarship is for graduates of high schools on Hawaii Island who are current college juniors or seniors studying for a degree in civil engineering, nursing, or education. The Isemoto Contracting Company has been doing business in Hawaii since 1926. They created this scholarship to give back to the community and to support the success of the Big Island's students. They support civil engineering students, which reflects the company's core area of work, student teachers to honor numerous relatives who work as teachers, and students studying nursing in honor of a family members who have provided comfort and care to their aging relatives.
