The Gloria Scammahorn Memorial Endowed Scholarship provides financial assistance to one entry-level occupational therapy student and/or one entry-level occupational therapy assistant (OTA) student who are members of the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.

Requirements

This program is open to Kansas residents who are enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program or occupational therapy assistant in the state at the associate or master's degree level.

Applicants must demonstrate a sustained record of outstanding scholastic performance.

They must be members of the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA) and the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Selection is based on academic merit and leadership potential; financial need is not considered.
