The Chinn Scholarship for LGBT Atheist Activism provides financial assistance for college to students who identify themselves as atheists and have been involved in LBGTQIA+ activism.

Requirements
  • This program is open to college-bound high school seniors and current college or vocational students.
  • Applicants must be atheists and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • They must also have been involved in activism for LBGTQIA+ equality.
  • Selection is based on activism, with special attention given to students who show activism in their schools (e.g., starting atheist/freethinker groups, fighting against violations of the separation of church and state in the school).
  • Membership in the LBGTQIA+ community is not required; allies are encouraged to apply.
