The Bridge to Career Program is available to students who are attending any of the 58 North Carolina Community Colleges. This program is designed to help students to obtain state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials that lead to sustainable wage careers within their local communities. Preference is given to unemployed and underemployed adults, military veterans, and members of the National Guard with marketable job skills.

Requirements
  • Seeking a professional certification and plan to enroll in a continuing education course at a North Carolina Community College
  • Seeking to obtain a credential listed on the NC Workforce Credentials list at either the Essential or Career level
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to unemployed and underemployed adults, military veterans, and members of the National Guard.
