The APRO Charitable Foundation Scholarship provides financial assistance to employees and children of employees of rent-to-own companies of who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to rent-to-own company employees and the children of rent-to-own company employees.
  • The rentto-own company must be a member in good standing of an association at the national level (the Association of Progressive Rental Organizations or APRO) or a current member of each state association to which they apply (currently rental dealer associations in Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee).
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as an undergraduate or graduate student at a college or university in any state.
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher for attendance at a 4year college or university or 2.5 or higher for attendance at a 2-year community college or trade school.
  • Selection is based on academic merit, civic and community involvement, and financial need.
