Requirements
  • This program is open to Native American students interested in working on an undergraduate degree on a full-time basis.
  • Applicants must submit proof of tribal enrollment and an essay of 2 to 3 pages on 1 of the following topics: 1) why the sponsor's International Repatriation Project is important and how they would inform others about it; 2) the Annie E. Casey Foundation's Juvenile Detention Alternatives Initiative and tribal and communitybased alternatives to detention for juveniles; or 3) how tribal leaders can promote higher education in their family and community.
  • They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Selection is based on merit and need.
