Requirements

This program is open to graduating high school seniors who have a relative (parent, stepparent, grandparent, or legal guardian) that is submarine qualified.

Applicants must be 1) residents of Charleston, Berkeley, or Dorchester counties in South Carolina; or 2) relatives of a member of the Charleston Base Submarine Veterans Association, regardless of the place of residence.

Selection is based on scholastic proficiency and participation in extracurricular activities that benefit their school and/or community.

Financial need is not considered.
